4mation offers two levels of Content Management System:

Basic CMS

This is a simple solution, which is great for small business.

Using a secure, password-protected section of your site you can update your existing web pages and create entirely new pages of text, images and links.

The interface looks and feels very like Microsoft Word, so even novice users will have no trouble making professional-looking changes. And more experienced users can swap into 'HTML Mode' for advanced editing.

Advanced CMS

Ideal for medium to large organisations, our Advanced CMS is ideal when web content needs to be managed and approved by a team (or even several teams).

Protected access and approvals

Your administrator can customise user access levels (permissions), to protect your web content and ensure that staff members can only access content they're entitled to edit.

The system manages a review and approval process before content 'goes live'. And automated version control means you have a complete history of your past web content, so you can roll back changes should the need arise.

Easy, advanced editing tools

The powerful WYSIWYG ('what you see is what you get') editor combines the familiar functionality of a word processor with real time content display, so you can see your pages change as you work.

Repeated images and other items can be inserted on multiple pages, then the numerous occurrences can be changed or updated with just one change. Content can also be set to display during a specified timeframe.

Self- and cross-promotion

You can also use the system to improve your search engine rankings by using human readable URLs and customisable meta tags. An inbuilt link guardian makes sure the links are live, and sends you an email if they are not.
