Sometimes you need to communicate a lot of statistical information to get your point across, however giving someone a large slab of text full of facts and figures is often the quickest way to put them to sleep! So how do you get your message across in an interesting and efficient way without driving away your customers from pure boredom?

Say hello to infographics. The human mind is a picture gallery, not a debating hall, and so the best way to communicate is through pictures. Infographics use a number of subtle clever and creative techniques to communicate a large number of facts and figures in a way specifically designed to engage and maintain your reader’s attention.

Let’s have a look at a recent example.

4mation produced the above infographic for MyBrainSolutions, which is a brain training platform powered by Brain Resource, an international network of scientists, clinicians and information technology specialists.

Tasked with creating an illustrated infographic demonstrating the prevalence, diagnosis and complications associated with the developmental disorder ADHD, our designers produced this eye-catching and informative piece.

Infographics have become highly popular of late due to the ease with which they can be shared with others online, often going viral and driving huge amounts of traffic back to the original website. Once supplied to our client, this infographic was posted on Twitter and Facebook, where it garnered the attention of other major outlets including Yahoo News, who featured it on their highly trafficked “Photo of the Day” gallery.

Creating fantastic infographics such as this is just one of the services 4mation offer via our talented Creative department.
